2026 Hartman Award Recipient: Carrie Pickell

​

Since 2022, Carrie has served in several board roles, including President-Elect, President, and 5th VP Communications. She is thankful for the opportunity to support actions to streamline communications and processes, and to help strengthen the FOL brand, always mindful that these accomplishments reflect the dedication and teamwork of the entire board.

 

Together with fellow board members, she has expanded membership and meeting attendance and helped raise the Friends of the Library's visibility and engagement throughout the community.

 

A deep appreciation for Library FRIENDS and the Rockwall County Library inspires her to share that enthusiasm with everyone she meets.​
